Accessibility Statement

Last checked:15 September 2026

StudioLavian aims to let anyone, including people with disabilities, use the site and enjoy the works and information on it comfortably and on equal terms.

The site was designed and adjusted towards the principles of the Israeli standard IS 5568 and the WCAG guidelines at level AA, as far as they apply to its structure and content. This is not a claim of external certification, nor of complete accessibility in every possible combination of device and assistive technology.

What has been done

  • page structure and headings intended to support clear navigation;
  • navigation and operation of controls by keyboard;
  • a visible focus indicator on interactive elements;
  • contrast adjustments for text and active elements;
  • alternative text for images, according to each image's purpose and context;
  • labels and messages on form fields;
  • support for different screen sizes, including widths of 320, 375 and 640 pixels;
  • a control to stop the moving content in the carousel, which also does not start moving when the system asks for reduced motion;
  • automated testing with axe-core across every template and painting page in both languages, and manual keyboard-navigation checks.

When it was last checked, and how

The last accessibility check was carried out on 15 September 2026. It covered automated testing with axe-core 4.10.2 across every template in both languages at four screen widths (320, 375, 640 and 1280 pixels) and across every painting page at two widths — 476 page runs in all — together with manual checks of keyboard navigation, focus and colour contrast.

Known limitations

Despite this, accessibility limitations may remain, particularly in the display of works of art, where visual detail, colour and texture carry the meaning. The site continues to be tested and improved.

If you run into difficulty, you are welcome to ask for a description, for information, or for an accessible alternative to a particular piece of content.

Reporting an accessibility problem

To help it be dealt with quickly, please include the address of the page, a description of the difficulty, what you were trying to do, your browser or device, and the assistive technology you were using, if any.
